Day 1: Welcome to Cusco and City Tour in Cusco

Upon arrival in Cusco, a representative will meet you at the airport to help you with transportation and transfer to your respective hotel. In the afternoon you will make the famous city tour. This tour begins with the visit to the Qorikancha, or the Temple of the Sun, to then go to Sacsayhuaman, one of the most emblematic buildings of the Inca Empire, built by the Inca Pachacutec in the 15th century. It is a vast fortress built from huge stones; How were they transported and worked? It remains a mystery. We will also visit Quenqo, Puka Pukara and Tambomachay to then return to the city of Cusco.

Day 2: Tour to the South Valley

This journey begins by picking you up from your hotel. Then we will go by bus to the south of Cusco, during this trip we can see beautiful landscapes of the Andean mountains. The first stop will be the archaeological center of Tipón, ceremonial center Inka where through a stone channel the flow of water from the high peaks of the Pachatusan hill to the lowlands of the valley was controlled. Later we will visit the Archaeological Complex of Pikillaqta which literally means “city of fleas”. It is an old walled citadel of the Wari Empire, which was one of the most important regional centers of the Wari Culture in its expansion into the city of Cusco. Finally we will conclude the journey visiting the beautiful Church of Andahuaylillas, little jewel of the Colonial period, also known as ‘The Sistine of America’, inside which is an impressive collection of canvases with gold plated frames and mural paintings, baroque altarpieces , and more. Likewise we can appreciate the famous pentalingue door.

Day 3: Salt Mines and Moray Tour

We will start the trip picking you up from your hotel in Cusco. In tourist bus we will move towards the Urubamba Valley, during the trip we will be able to observe the magnificent Nevado de Chicón. Our first point of visit will be the picturesque town of Maras, where the houses still retain their colonial facades and has a beautiful church. Then we will go to the Archaeological Complex of Moray, which has a system of terraces or agricultural terraces of circular shape, which served as Inca agricultural laboratory, to experience their new crops.
Finally we will visit the Salineras ‘natural salt wells’ which are platforms formed by hundreds of white wells that can be seen as if it were snow at a distance. In colonial times it became the first salt producing center in the southern sierra. They were used for thousands of years and even long before the Inca Empire.

Day 4: Tour to the Sacred Valley of Cusco

After breakfast we will embark towards the Sacred Valley of the Incas, our first destination will be Pisac, here we will observe the design of the construction of the archaeological site, which many say, that portrays the profile of a condor. Pisac is known mainly for two reasons: for its famous handicraft market and for its archaeological site. Here we will have free time to interact with local artisans. We continue with the journey by the Vilcanota river margin, until we reach the town of Urubamba, where we will have an exquisite lunch buffet. Finally we will visit the town of Ollantaytambo, also known as the living Inca city. “Here we will have a tour to know all the ceremonial centers and most important places of this magical town.
In the afternoon we will continue our trip by train to the city of Machu Picchu (Aguas Calientes).

Day 5: Visit to Machu Picchu

Today we will get up very early, to have breakfast and then take one of the first buses to Machu Picchu.
Our guide will give you a tour of Machu Picchu to know the history, the most important temples and altars. After your tour you will have free time to explore the site on your own or if you still have a lot of energy going up the mountain of Huayna Picchu, from where you have a stunning and spectacular view of Machu Picchu.
After completing our visit, you will return by bus to the town of Aguas Calientes to take the train back to Ollantaytambo, then you will be transferred to Cusco.

Day 6: Tour to the Rainbow Mountain

We will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco very early, and we will head south of Cusco through the beautiful valley landscapes and farming communities. We will go to the town of Cusipata, where the restaurant where we will enjoy a delicious breakfast, after breakfast we continue the trip to Phulluwasipata the point where the transport arrives and start the trekking course to the hill of 7 colors, our guide will take care to present the income in the control.

Along the way we will pass by herds of hundreds of alpacas and llamas, occasionally spotting the local inhabitants by going for their daily activities.

The ascent will take us to our final destination at the highest point of our trek, Vinicunca or Montaña Arco Iris (5.020msnm / 16.466ft), here we will stop to admire and appreciate the outstanding views that we will find in all directions and also the rare ones geological formations that seemed to be painted with exotic colors by the hand of God. In the distance and below us we will see infinite valleys and glaciers until we lose sight of them.

Once the souvenir photos have been taken we will descend to the starting point of the trekking, at the indicated time we will begin to descend to the point where the mobility left us and later we will be returning to the restaurant where we will taste a delicious buffet lunch and then we will be returning to the city of Cusco

Day 7: Departure

After breakfast at the hotel, according to your flight schedule, we will pick you up from your hotel to transfer you to the Cusco airport two hours in advance, where we will help you carry out the entire process for boarding your flight. End of our tour in Cusco.
